Title: Sleepless
Author: Exploded Pen
Written for: Roadstergal
Archive: I'll post it to Warp 5 myself, anyone else ask before they archive :)
Word Count: 1179
A/N: First off, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] tlifor the various beta reading and reassurances at 1am. This story was really difficult to write as the prompt I chose involved characters I don't usually write a lot of dialogue for, so here's hoping it all worked out ok. The prompt was: Gen involving Phlox, Sato, and/or Mayweather, set in the Expanse. I pretty much took 'The Expanse' to mean all of series 3. This story is set following 'Doctor's Orders'. Hope you enjoy it roadstergal :)
Summary: Hoshi can't sleep, and after a walk finds herself in sickbay.
Story here :) )

Your result for Reincarnation Placement Exam...

Starfleet Crewperson

67% Intrigue, 88% Civilization, 65% Humanity, 68% Urbanization.

As Mister Spock would say: Fascinating. It seems you've managed to hit the edge of the curve on all metrics. An extraordinary life is almost certain.

According to your answers, you want it all, you want a lot of it, and you're willing to do what it takes to get it! Adventure! Romance! Technology! Challenge! You love civilization. You like people. You love the complications and joys of a big, weird crowd of humans plus lots of other beings wandering into dangerous and complicated corners of the galaxy.

There is an ideal place for you, and you are ideal for it: Welcome to the crew of the starship Enterprise. Captain Kirk would have welcomed you aboard himself, but his head was too big to fit in the landing bay.

[livejournal.com profile] t_eyla  listed me in the paranoia meme, and in order to get the questions I had to promise to do it.

1) There are 30 questions. Answer each with the nick of one person from your f-list.
2) Post the list of names.
3) People who want to know the questions will have to promise to do the meme.

Putting the list under a cut to spare peoples flists :)

The list :) )

It both worries and amuses me that two of my worst line entries are in under the 'shamefully most want to read' bit.

http://trinityofone.livejournal.com/158286.html#cutid1

Clicky clicky to vote for the worst line ever to begin a fanfic, the story you shamefully would actually like to read, and what you want to do to the bastards who cancelled SGA!!

Disclaimer: I don't own Star Trek: Enterprise

I  feel like I need an icon with Exploded Pen on it and a purdy picture in the background.

Just 'cause.

Also I'm heading off to annoy visit [profile] tlisoon! HURRAH! Ten whole days of me poking and prodding and forcing you to write things and let me read things - it's gonna be AWESOME!!!

The Big Read reckons that the average adult has only read 6 of the top 100 books they've printed. Well let's see.

1) Look at the list and bold those you have read.
2) Italicize those you intend to read.
3) Underline the books you love.
4) Reprint this list in your own LJ so we can try and track down these people who've read 6 and force books upon them. ;-)

explodedpen: (cant change dont bother)

You know what? I may as well not bother marking my stories as complete of ffnet anymore. Everytime I do someone always asks me to update!

Well I'm very sorry but there is no update! IT IS COMPLETE!

A/N The second:  Look what [personal profile] krysalysmade!! Check it out - isn't it awesome?!
explodedpen: (how?)
You know, like:

Mckay + Sheppard = McShep

Chair + Beckett = Checkett

But Smallville fandom, why oh freakin why did I read a summary on the Smallville ffnet boards that smooshed:

Clark + Whitney=

Wait for it.

That's right folks, the author announced the story pairing to the world as being Clitney.
