Oh God, I was, I mean, christ I was pretty much crying from the get-go, yes I'm a wussy cry baby at films and tv shows but still.
This episode hit kinda close to home. My granny suffers with altzheimers, so the whole memory loss, degredation thing...that was... yeah.
God they had some superb scenes in this episode, the whole bit on the pier, with John and Rodney getting drunk and John refusing point blank to let Rodney say goodbye and...God, then the whole "Arthur" bit and the two of them just pissing themselves laughing.
The whole bit with the tapes showing his degredation was nicely done I thought, although the last maybe five seconds were a bit 'huh' but to be honest I don't really mind.
Although WTF on John's Panda t-shirt. Even if it was cool.
But the teamy goodness and Jeannie! Oh God Jeannie! When she saw him and started crying and had to leave and got comforted by Ronon and just... *sob*
I still actually want to cry now. Damn you show! And DAMN YOU SCI-FI for cancelling it *sigh*
But at least it'll live on in fandom right?
