Pointless rant

YOU DON'T 'WONDER' SOMEWHERE YOU 'WANDER SOMEWHERE!!! ARGH!!! Wondering relates to thinking!! Wandering relates to movement!!

I have seen way too many people use 'wonder' when they mean 'wander' today, I got so paranoid that I may be wrong that I checked it in the dictionary and nowhere, I repeated nowhere did it refer to 'wondering somewhere'

OH MY GOD!! What the chuff is the world coming to? I have just witnessed this exchange on an ITV programme between two  contestants:
Girl: I can't think of any adjectives to say what I'm on about really
Lad: What's an adjective
Girl: Oh I think its a doing word
