I agree with [livejournal.com profile] talkingtothesky. Painful. Makes me tear up a bit :( The flashback with the sherbert added a bit of a lightness to the dark, especially where Gene yells at Sam for pleasuring his food rather then eating it :D
And I love that Chris avenged Sam, lovely.
